The “Great Adventure Bible Timeline”, led by Lauren Noce, a college student from Franciscan University, begins on Thursday May 30th 7:30-9:00pm and runs for 8 weeks in the Lifeteen Attic. All those in high school and 8th grade are welcome. You do not need to be present for every session, just join us when you can to enjoy the adventure. Camp Veritas is a one-week play-and-pray sleep away summer camp for youth going into 7th to 12th grades.

Dates for 2013:
Week 1: July 14-20, 2013 at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY
Week 2: August 11-17, 2013 at Camp Lakota, in Wurtsboro, NY

The Steubenville East Conference is in Kingston Rhode Island on July 19th – 21st and it’s for teens (9th-12th grade).

The Lifeteen group would like to thank all parishioners who donated gifts to this year’s Christmas giving tree. The folks at Green Chimneys, Putnam CAP and Friends of Karen were once again overwhelmed by your generosity.

Our Lifeteen Youth Ministry took a day trip to New York City last weekend and in addition to touring Fifth Avenue shops and visiting the tree in Rockefeller Center, attended the Catholic Underground praise and worship Holy Hour at Good Counsel Church on the Upper East Side for a moving experience of the Eucharistic Presence of Christ among 800 young people and families.

The Lifeteen group will again be collecting gifts for local organizations; Putnam CAP, Friends of Karen and Green Chimney's. Please take a request card off the tree in the back of the church and return the unwrapped gift with the card by Dec. 16th. Thank you for your generosity.

Have you been to our Sunday night Teen Mass? We have been going strong for over a month and are always looking for teens to serve the Lord! If you are in 9th grade or higher and are interested in lectoring, altar serving, ushering, becoming a Eucharist Minister (must be over 16) and/or joining the teen band, please contact Gina Seaman at gseaman2005@aol.com for more information. We encourage you to participate in celebrating the Mass with your fellow peers.
