Five-Year Strategic Plan

Five–year Strategic Plan
St. Lawrence O'Toole

Based on the Mission Statement of St. Lawrence O'Toole Parish, “Responding to God's call with Sacramental Worship, Personal Commitment, and Community Action”, we formulate this plan to move the Parish forward with committees and goals to implement the Priestly, Prophetic, and Kingly functions of the Parish.

2010 Archdiocesan Stewardship Appeal

As stewards and Disciples of Christ, we recognize that all the goods and riches in our life are gifts from God. Strengthened by the Eucharist, we respond to God’s generosity in our lives with gratitude by using and sharing our gifts in service of others. Please share your gifts and make a gift to the 2010 Archdiocesan Stewardship Appeal.

Father Andrew

The word has come from Fr. Andrew that he will be returning to Ghana this coming summer. After nine years of study at Fordham and other colleges and priestly service to us here at St. Lawrence, the time has come for Fr. Andrew to return to his home diocese of Sunyani, Ghana. We will have a proper parish celebration of thanksgiving for Fr. Andrew in the late spring or early summer. In the meantime, Fr. Andrew has asked me to make a special request to the whole parish community. He would like to take a quality used vehicle home with him for his use back in Ghana.

Congratulations

Congratulations to our own Fr. Alfredo Monteiro for officially becoming a priest of the Archdiocese of New York. On Monday, February 15, 2010, Archbishop Timothy Dolan incardinated Fr. Monteiro and ten other priests into the ranks of the priests of the Archdiocese of New York in a ceremony at the Archbishops residence. Please take the time to congratulate Fr. Monteiro on this important day in his priestly life.
