The summer is flying by, and all the commercials remind us to stock up on our school supplies because it’s almost that time again! Our Religious Education program is also ready to go! Children grades 1 through 8 should be registered by now and will be receiving detailed information about Religious Education within the next week. Mark your calendars!

Religious Education Catechists Needed
No experience Necessary
The Religious Education Program is in need of Catechists (teachers) for the coming school year. Would you be willing to teach a class and share the gift of faith with the children of our parish? If you are hesitant to teach by yourself, you could try co-teaching. We are flexible and encourage all dedicated, caring parishioners to ponder and embrace this opportunity to serve the Church. Teachers will be given a manual and a lesson outline to follow. We will also hold a Catechist Workshop before classes start in September.

Help Wanted
Calling all parishioners: Parents, Guardians, Young Adults (Married or Single), Seniors
Job description: Work with the young people of our parish to instill the same love of the faith you have experienced by meeting with them once a week for an hour and a half.
Experience: None required. Training takes place in the Fall and support is provided throughout the year. (Co-teaching may also be available upon request.)
CCD Registration
Registration for the 2008-09 school year will take place throughout June. Families that were in our program last year have received a mailing with new registration forms and other pertinent information. Any family with a new student is asked to register in person.
