Happy St. Patrick’s Day
It’s PARADE TIME once again! Help continue the tradition by marching with St. Lawrence O’Toole School in the Putnam County St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Once again St. Lawrence participants will be riding on a float!!!
Please park your car at the K-Mart parking lot, and take the shuttle bus to Bee & Jay Plumbing (719 Route 6), where we will meet at 1pm. Parents will march along with the float. The parade starts at 2pm, and ends at approximately 3-3:15pm.

St. Lawrence O’Toole HSA presents our 11th Fashion Show
“Springtime in the Garden”
Sunday, April 13, 2008
3 pm – 6 pm
Dear Parents,
The fashion show committee would like to put together an assortment of baskets which will be used as raffle prizes for this year’s fashion show. We are asking that you help to create these baskets by donating an item that pertains to the theme basket assigned to your child’s grade. Themes and item suggestions are listed below. For your convenience, the fashion show committee will provide the basket and put it together.
Please send your donation to school ASAP but no later than Friday, April 4th. This event can only be a complete success with the help of everyone! We appreciate your help and generosity.
REMINDER
With the exception of the class baskets where the class will be listed as a whole, if any family sends in a raffle or door prize donation for the Fashion Show, be sure to put your name on it before giving it in to the office so that your name can be acknowledged in our journal.

Enjoy a delicious dinner at St. Lawrence served by the Outback Steakhouse of Danbury. This great event will take place on Sunday, March 2. Seatings will be from 2-4PM and from 5-7PM. Dinner includes steak or chicken breast served with potato, salad, bread, soda, coffee/tea and dessert. Prices are $15. for adults and $8. for children (12 and under).
All food is donated by Outback and is 100% profit for St. Lawrence! We dine on our choice of steak or chicken, salad, potatoes, dessert and coffee. It’s a wonderful gift and opportunity. Volunteers are needed to help organize reservations and sittings as well as set up and clean up. This event will be chaired once again by Moira Tolan and Marilou Minella.

Just a quick note about tomorrow so that you can make some preliminary plans. If there is a two hour delay due to weather conditions, St. Lawrence will be closed.
Since we would come in at 10am and leave at 11am, it does not make sense to come at all. I have a Smart Board training session for the faculty at Noon.
I will send an email in the morning if school will be closed and it will of course be posted on our website, and on our phone message.
