St. Lawrence O’Toole School sponsors fundraisers throughout the school year to raise money for our school. Every family is asked to volunteer for at least one, if not more of these events. Each event requires one chairperson and several volunteers; two (2) or more individuals may chair a large event. The chairperson organizes the event; contacts volunteers and accounts for all money raised and forwards the profits to the HSA treasurer. If a chairperson encounters problems with an event, the fundraising co-chairs or a member of the board should be contacted. Volunteers work in conjunction with each other and the chairperson. This is a team effort; we are all here to help each other. The time required for each event depends on the event.

Volunteering is a vital part of the success of each event. However, we also ask that you attend as many events as possible. Please think about inviting friends and family as well. Volunteering and attending these events are wonderful ways to meet new families and make new friends. It is important to bring the community and the parish into our events.
