Happy St. Patrick’s Day

It’s PARADE TIME once again! Help continue the tradition by marching with St. Lawrence O’Toole School in the Putnam County St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Once again St. Lawrence participants will be riding on a float!!!

Please park your car at the K-Mart parking lot, and take the shuttle bus to Bee & Jay Plumbing (719 Route 6), where we will meet at 1pm. Parents will march along with the float. The parade starts at 2pm, and ends at approximately 3-3:15pm.

“Springtime in the Garden”

3 pm – 6 pm

Dear Parents,

The fashion show committee would like to put together an assortment of baskets which will be used as raffle prizes for this year’s fashion show. We are asking that you help to create these baskets by donating an item that pertains to the theme basket assigned to your child’s grade. Themes and item suggestions are listed below. For your convenience, the fashion show committee will provide the basket and put it together.

Please send your donation to school ASAP but no later than Friday, April 4^th. This event can only be a complete success with the help of everyone! We appreciate your help and generosity.

REMINDER

With the exception of the class baskets where the class will be listed as a whole, if any family sends in a raffle or door prize donation for the Fashion Show, be sure to put your name on it before giving it in to the office so that your name can be acknowledged in our journal.

We’re looking for volunteers to help staff our booth at the Brewster Founders Day Street Fair on Sunday, September 30. Please come even if you can only stay for an hour. Volunteers will help hand out balloons and talk to people who are interested about our school.

January 28 – February 2, 2007

Please note band will resume after the vacation on Tuesday, January 2, 2007. Beginner students will have their usual lesson and end at the same time. Advanced students will take their lesson together as a full band and end at 3:30 instead of 4:00. This will be in effect through the month of January until the concert. (Date not yet announced).

Sunday, December 3rd, join Jolly Old St. Nick for a pancake breakfast. Featuring “Bob’s Diner’s” famous pancake recipe as we deck the halls this glorious season together at “Santa’s Cafe!”

$8 per Adult/ $4 per Child 10 years of age and under.

Have the convenience of choosing from two seatings:

8:30 am or 10:30 am
