Stewardship Report
We had the Church and front of the gym buildings power-washed to remove soot and dirt. We also are in the process of sanding and refinishing the Church doors, courtesy of Jim DeVito who is an accomplished wood restorer. Freddie Peralta, a stone mason, offered to repair some loose stone over the church doors and repoint them, free of charge. Lou Rueda, who previously installed the new floors in the Lifeteen Club in the Parish Center, will be upgrading the bathroom in the Church at cost of materials only. Another company did the grinding and polishing of the terrazzo floor in the vestibule of the Church. We'll soon be repairing the windows on the doors of the Church as well. Last week we also refinished the floor in the gym and repainted the lines. A group of the Knights of Columbus are helping renovate the old school library to make it into a parish center conference room for group meetings, retreats, and talks. Many thanks to all who donated their expertise, time and service to the parish. Outstanding among these folks has been Frank Mengler. Thank you very much from everyone in the parish!
