The ground breaking ceremony for our Church took place on July 19,1914 and the Church was dedicated on June 27, 1915. Court Bernadine was a large contributor to the Church pledging to have St. Joseph's altar installed along with the Rose window over the main altar. The Church was constructed of granite hauled by horse and wagon from Marvin Mountain behind the RR station on Main Street.
