Holy Trinity Church, will host its 22nd Annual Appalachian Craft Fair Friday July 13 through Sunday July 15. For 22 years parishioners of Holy Trinity Church have collected household goods and clothing and traveled to various regions of Appalachia to bring these much needed and necessary items to them. Once the items are delivered, the truck returns to Sherman filled with the many crafts the residents of these areas produce for sale to subsidize their meager incomes. Holy Trinity holds the Appalachian Craft Fair and sells the hand-made crafts for the crafters. Items for sale include beautifully hand-made baskets, pottery, jewelry, wooden toys and much, much more. Holy Trinity sends 100 percent of the proceeds to the crafters. Items not sold at the fair are returned to the crafters in Appalachia.
